Breastfeeding Duration

Breastfeeding duration

The time that is taken for Breastfeeding is dependent upon the character as-well-as age of your baby. It can vary between 10 and 20 minutes per breast. You should offer your baby both the breasts. If the infant is full after feeding at one breast, you need to offer it the other breast at the next Breastfeeding session. You should pay attention to your baby’s sucking noises and intensity. Short and fast movements at the starting make the milk flow, and slower, more intense sucking indicates that the milk has started to flow. The milk supply is undoubtedly sufficient at least 120 –140g per week.
